The University promotes regular performance appraisals and opportunities to work flexibly on it’s online “Rewards and Benefits” page.
However, not everyone receives these benefits (myself included) and so isn’t this misleading to potential employees?
The University promotes regular appraisal for all staff. It is looking to introduce an online appraisal system going forward which will enable information to be collated from all areas on development needs more generally. The University has a range of flexible working arrangements and whilst we recognise that not all are appropriate to everyone, we do believe that there is flexibility in working arrangements. Where this applies to the position being advertised it is normally stated in the job description.
