We offer consultancy, bespoke training and commissioned research. We also enjoy collaborating with health professionals and academics from other universities. Here are some of the ways you can get involved with our team of experts:
Research collaboration: We have expertise in qualitative and quantitative approaches, state of the art lab spaces, highly trained experienced staff who can work with you on designing, implementing, evaluating and disseminating research.
Consultancy: Specialist staff can work with you to deliver consultancy projects on time and on budget. In addition, we have Doctoral Trainees who (under close supervision of specialist staff) can take on smaller consultancy projects.
Bespoke training: We have experience of offering bespoke training for health professionals and businesses. For example:
coping with long-term conditions
recognising and addressing unconscious bias for health professionals,
motivating dietary change for patients with Type II diabetes
Volunteer: We conduct a range of studies which require volunteers to help develop our ideas and test our theories. Our studies sample people from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, and include research using our state-of-the-art equipment in our Science Centre, as well as interview studies and online research.
If you are interested in taking part in our research please visit our Volunteering page for details of studies currently recruiting participants.
Speaker Programme: Or you could simply come and listen to the exciting range of speakers that come to share their cutting edge research with us at the University (Visiting Speaker Series) and via the Stoke Psychology in the Pub series that we organise in collaboration with the British Psychological Society West Midlands Branch and the fabulous Glebe pub in the heart of Stoke.
We look forward to hearing from you, and working with you. For further information, please get in contact via this link or read more in our Centre Brochure:
