Hone your own writing skills with Paul Houghton

Join Paul Houghton a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Staffordshire University for first hand advice on how to develop your writing skills.
The session will focus on how to write engaging realistic dialogue and how to make the setting itself as characterful as the person in it.

We are pleased to support our partners My Community Matters, Stoke on Trent City Council, the Friends of Hanley Park and the Community Organiser for Hanley West and Shelton who are working with local residents to organise these events.

‘Coaching: Steps for the Future’ will explore peoples goals and aspirations for the future and help them to make steps towards achieving their goals using a coaching approach.
The session will be led by Sarah Page and Dr Barbara Emadi-Coffin from Staffordshire University’s Creative Communities Unit.
