Market Drayton Swimming Club is a relatively small club (the number of swimmers vary between 35-55, comprising mostly of teenagers) and they swim four or five nights per week at the local pool in Drayton. The club is currently going through some changes, and they are now looking for some people who can assist with coaching the swimmers. This position is voluntary to start with but there may be further scope for paid work in the future.

The club is intending to take a break over the summer school holidays (finishing when schools break up late July and then starting again in Sept), so they would like to use this time to recruit some assistant coaches.

This would be suitable for….

1) someone with a keen interest and who wants to become a coach of a small swimming club

2) someone who wants to just gain some coaching experience (with a limited amount of responsibilities)

3) someone who is happy to provide support as part of a coaching team for one or more days.

The club swims in the evenings, usually between 5-7pm.
