In your industry, are your graduates and students likely to do some freelancing, commissioning or contracting? If so, let the Be Inspired team help them out!

‘Be Inspired at Staffordshire University’ (biSU) is a project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), which helps graduates, students and staff to start their own business or legally freelance, AND supports their growth within Staffordshire.

biSU has created 406 Graduate businesses with a sustainability rate of 79% (as checked by UK Gov at three years).

Be Inspired provides a comprehensive package of support including:
• Development workshops: You’ll benefit from ‘up front’ and monthly workshops on many different aspects of becoming successfully self-employed.

• Industry mentoring programme: You’ll choose your own industry mentor who will be there to support you, advise you and help you build confidence in your business.

• Networking opportunities: At our business clubs, you can hear from expert industry speakers and meet like-minded start-ups to develop your business network.

• Financial Support: Up to £3,000 of grant funding will be available to you for items you require in your business.
