New Year Career Development

With 2020 a distant memory, there’s never been a more important time to stand out from the crowd and skill-up ready for the graduate marketplace! Our students can start this at any level and make a big difference to their employability and recruitability with a few small actions.

In Careers, we are poised to support our students in taking ownership of their future and moving ‘progress and personal development’ to the top of their lists in 2021. Career Services are always well known for their application and interview help, but around this time of year, we also see Level 4s looking for work experience or volunteering, Level 5s thinking about Placement and a Level 6 (and beyond) wanting to learn more about Life Design, exploring what comes next and taking part in GradEX.

We want to ensure all students know about what the Career Studio can offer. So please advise your students on the support that is available and encourage them to book an online or telephone appointment.

Our fully trained Career Coaches have a wealth of knowledge and resources to help with a range of career related subjects. From a career related chat, our Coaches can identify all the ways they might be able to support the student.

Appointments are currently all available online or via telephone and can be booked 10am-6pm Monday- Friday by visiting www.staffs.ac.uk/students/careers/mycareer .
