The Creative Communities Unit offers a range of exciting accredited short courses, workshops and bespoke courses which have been specifically designed to support the Continuing Professional Development needs of those who work with or volunteer in the community, voluntary, public or private sectors.
The delivery of the courses can be negotiated with commissioning organisations to suit busy schedules. Each course is self-contained and allows you to study at a level suitable for you and your staff.
All courses provide high quality professional development opportunities that are available to take as either accredited or unaccredited, giving the option to gain a formal qualification at either University Certificate Level (NQF Level 3, or NQF Level 4) or Master’s Level (NQF Level 7)
To find out more about any of our courses or to enroll, please get in touch with the Creative Communities Unit.
Course Fees
The fees are £375 for 15 credit modules and £750 for 30 credit modules. Separate charges may apply for Growing Your Social Enterprise. Costs may vary for large groups – please get in touch.
Entry Requirements:
We welcome people with a variety of qualifications, skills and experiences for any of our Short Courses, however for those wishing to study at Level 7, we would normally expect students to have a first degree (BA or BSc). We require a written application to be sent to us which may be followed by a telephone interview, and then a request for a short essay on a topic to be submitted depending on the course you are applying for. We make sure that all applications we receive are considered individually and fairly.
