We’re really excited to announce that we’re working with Stoke-on-Trent City Council to produce a social value forecast of the potential social and economic benefits if Stoke-on-Trent is successful in its upcoming bid to become the UK City of Culture 2021.

Through creative evaluation with local people and the cultural sector we’ll be focusing on four main areas: employment, economy, social, and health and wellbeing. Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing more updates on the project, including opportunities to take part in the consultation events and an opportunity for artists.

The project combines our creative approach to evaluation with Social Value Impact Assessment, working closely with communities and residents across Stoke-on-Trent to help assess the social and economic value of the bid. The project will run from January-July 2016.

We’ll be updating this page with more information about the project over the coming weeks.
