The Creative Communities Unit offers a range of exciting accredited short courses which have been specifically designed to support the Continuing Professional Development needs of those who work with or volunteer in the community, voluntary, public or private sectors. The delivery of the courses can be negotiated with commissioning organisations to suit busy schedules. Each course is self-contained and allows you to study at a level suitable for you and your staff.
What would this give me?
All courses provide high quality professional development opportunities that are accredited so you may receive a formal qualification at either University Certificate Level (NQF Level 3, or NQF Level 4) or Master’s Level (NQF Level 7).

Entry Requirements:
We welcome people with a variety of qualifications, skills and experiences for any of our Short Courses, however for those wishing to study at Level 7, we would normally expect students to have a first degree (BA or BSc). We require a written application to be sent to us which may be followed by a telephone interview and/or request for a short essay on a topic to be submitted depending on the course you are applying for. We make sure that all applications we receive are considered individually and fairly.
