AMORES, a two year participatory action learning project, worked with ten teachers and over 400 students to learn how creativity and ICT could empower students and increase engagement with literature.
Janet Hetherington, from the Creative Communities Unit, worked with partners in Greece, Croatia, the UK, Sweden, Denmark and Poland to deliver workshops looking at ways to increase students’ engagement with and knowledge of literature
Key findings included the crucial role of collaboration and interactivity – students were put at the centre of their own learning by making their own e-artifacts to share.
Check out the AMORES website for a simple overview of the methodology, a technology selection report and examples from six European countries.
AMORES was delivered with support from the European Commission.
