Ok, so after spending several hours reading about dashboards, settings, themes and widgets I’m getting the feeling that the best approach to take with venturing into the world of blogging is to just start writing something. I’m guessing initially there’s not likely to be a mass audience, but for anyone who perhaps has stumbled across this fledgling site and is reading this, then I suppose I’m asking that you bare with me whilst I finesse my blogging skills.
Let me introduce myself. I’m Sharon and I’m currently studying a Masters Degree in Youth and Community Work at the Creative Communities Unit (CCU), Staffordshire University. I’m one of 3 interns the other two being Vicky and Claire. Between us we aim to spread the word about the variety of courses, projects and activities that are undertaken within the CCU. We hope to generate debate and discussion amongst students past and present, potential future students, partner organisations and individuals who have a passion for all things community and creative approaches to community development, participatory arts, regeneration and youth and community practice.
