  • You can have a guided tour of the world-class facilities,
  • get light refreshments in the Coffee Lab,
  • hear about learning opportunities and
  • share your ideas about how you would like to see the Hanley West and Shelton area develop in future.

The Creative Communities Unit community engagement volunteer Debbie Ball will be supporting the Community First Panel to consult visitors to help them develop a community plan for the area.

Staffordshire University and the University Quarter celebrate the opening of the new Science Centre – already home to great minds. It’s a £30 million investment which will develop a new generation of creators, discoverers and innovators.

Sited next door to the City of Stoke on Trent Sixth Form College, it offers students access to state of the art learning and research facilities. Of paramount importance – and true to our vision of regenerating the local area through education – students from the Sixth Form and Stoke-on-Trent College are an integral part of the learning community, making excellent use of the specialist labs and facilities.
