The Creative Communities Unit launch their exciting new Masterclass and Short Courses programme for 2012 – 2013!
Have you ever thought about working with communities but don’t know where to start?
Do you work with communities now but would like to strengthen your knowledge and develop you skills?
Does your organisation want to work more closely with the local community?
With a broad range of course from one to six days in length, the Creative Communities Unit 2012-2013 programme has something for everyone.
Masterclasses are affordable, practical days which will provide participants with ideas and tips for how to improve their work. Some of the Masterclasses include:
- How was it for you? Evaluating Community Projects
- Bucking the Trend: A positive future for work with young people
- A Coaching Approach to Developing People
Short courses vary between 3 days for a 15 credit module and 6 days for a 30 credit module. These courses will provide a more in depth look at a particular area of work including:
- Theory and Practice of mentoring
- Contemporary Youth Work
- Developing sustainable enterprise
- Global Perspectives in Community Arts
