It’s far from being over!

Jaz on a trip to London with his course

Hey!

SO here we are.

As I write this, I am just completing my final two assessments for this year. It’s hard to believe that I’ve already finished my first year at university.

It literally just feels like yesterday that I started writing my first post for you all to indulge into, alas it’s not.

I have honestly really enjoyed my first year (well second… but that’s only if you’re counting my first year at another uni). It’s been quite an experience. I made many fantastic and talented people that I can proudly call friends.

Speaking from the viewpoint of a 21 year old (yes! I’m that old!), I believe that having the opportunity to meet so many people that share the same motivation and passion that you have, it’s quite extraordinary. Of course, I won’t lie and say that you’ll always have a good day at uni. This is real life after all, and in life you’ll have some good days and some bad days, but I think that’s important.Jaz with friends in London

Do I have any regrets? Not at all. I believe at university, and especially in your first year… you are allowed to make mistakes. You have ample opportunity to shape yourself into the person you want to be and I believe that’s wonderful.

I strongly believe that university perfectly bridges the gap between being a student and an adult.

I look forward to my second year and I look forward to the things I will be up to next year.

Right now, however… I can put my feet up and recover from our uni trip to London yesterday. Honestly… if you want to find out what happened… I suggest you read Rebecca’s blog!

Until the next time

Peace.

I’m Jaz! You’ve arrived at my blog about life through a 22-year old’s eyes. I’ve chosen Staffs to take the first steps for my career within the radio industry and hope it will lead me to being a sound designer and produce Radio Dramas/Documentaries for the BBC! I love drinking copious amounts of green tea and watching classic Doctor Who episodes. I’m #ProudToBeStaffs because of the amount of banter! Students – listen up - get involved with as much as you can. University tends to flyby when you are having fun.
