Happy New Year!
We have lots of new projects and events over the next few months which we’re excited to share with you over the coming weeks.
Social Enterprise Peer Mentoring Hub
The first Social Enterprise Peer Mentoring Hub of 2016 takes place on Thursday 28th January, 10am-12pm, in room LT116, Ashley, Staffordshire University, Leek Road, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 2DF. (View a map of the campus here.)
Please reserve your free place on the session by booking a ticket on the Eventbrite page.
Whether you’re already running a social enterprise or exploring the idea is one of your resolutions for 2016, The Hub is a great place to network and share ideas, advice and inspiration with like-minded people. Whether you’ve been to the previous Hub sessions or this is your first one, you’re welcome to be there. The Mentor Hub is free to attend and open to all.
This session will be facilitated by Louise Rutherford and Pete Twilley from the Creative Communities Unit.
If you have any questions or access requirements for the Mentoring Hub please contact Louise.
Set up by Oliver Sherlock, who is a member of the Social Enterprise Peer Mentoring Hub, Common Space is a new co-working space located in the heart of Stoke town centre. It provides a professional, flexible and networked working environment for creatives, freelancers, start-ups and micro-businesses.
For a monthly fee, members enjoy access to the space from 9am until 5:30pm Monday to Friday, access to high speed Wi-Fi, printing facilities, a bookable meeting room, tea, coffee and kitchen facilities; and the opportunity to get together with like-minded individuals and businesses.
On Tues 12th January Common Space is hosting an open evening from 5:30-7:30pm offering the opportunity to check out the space. The evening will be accompanied by nibbles and bubbles provided by Bread in Common. For more information please visit the Common Space website.
