Specific categories of patients desire specific spiritual care.  In Aliza’s PhD study (René van Leeuwen is one of her promotors), Aliza and colleagues explore the spiritual needs of (Dutch) children with chronic conditions.  A meta-synthesis of the literature specified to what children with a chronic condition themselves report on spirituality and their spiritual needs is now published in the Journal of Pediatric Nursing!
