Why did you choose your subject/course?
I have always been fascinated by radio drama, being able to produce worlds purely through the medium of sound. I do believe radio in general is a fascinating medium and one that will continue to stand the test of time.
Why did you choose Staffordshire University?
I chose Staff purely because of how many great reviews I heard and how especially the media campus had access to the latest studio equipment. Which for a Radio Student is a godsend.
What do you hope to do when you graduate?
I hope once I get my first (gotta aim high) I can get into the radio industry, particularly BBC Radio 3 so I can work alongside radio legends in creating professional drama to a nationwide audience.
One piece of advice you would give to prospective University students. Just go for it. I can’t stress that enough, if you are passionate about what you want to do in life then DO come to university. You’ll be surprised how much you learn apart from the course. I have one mantra which I follow close to my heart. ‘’You only have one life, why not make most out of it?’’
An interesting fact about you. I am actually allergic to chocolate, but that won’t stop me enjoying the Ultimate Hot Chocolate from Ember Lounge. Seriously, you have to try it.
Most treasured possession. That’s a tricky one… I think you’re going to have to ask me that yourself if you really want to know.
Favourite TV series/ Film/ Book. Doctor Who. Hands down. Whovian at heart.
