How excited are you for Christmas?!
Or maybe not as much. Correct me if I am wrong but do you find that the older you get Christmas isn’t as exciting as it once was?
No, No, don’t get me wrong I love Christmas. I love eating and spending time with my family…mostly eating though. Christmas is a time of laughter, love and relaxation.
However when you are a student you may find it hard to do the latter. You may find yourself thinking about an exam or essay due in January. I used to try and forget about uni work and just relax, but this is easier said than done.
But just keep telling yourself ‘one moment away to laugh and enjoy won’t do any harm’. You gotta be your biggest motivator.
Besides, even if you were going to attempt to do some work, you would probably just sit there and procrastinate. So why not just have some fun quality time with your family and friends instead. You have worked hard all semester so you deserve the break.
One thing that helped me relax and distract myself, was laughter. I know that we all cope with things differently, but just try it, you may be surprised. Hope you guys have a fun and relaxed christmas!
