New Year, New Me?

Jaz next to a start wars signHello!

Okay, I didn’t want to be the one using the cliché line ‘New Year, New Me’ however after seeing it sprawled across my social media… I had to have a go.

I do hope all of you had a brilliant Christmas and New Year’s Eve!

So, here we are. It’s 2016 and I’m currently at home, sipping green tea as usual. It’s been tad odd being back home and seeing my family again and it feels rather odd contemplating on the fact that being back home is a ‘temporary’ holiday. Time awaits no man and I am looking forward to starting my second semester back at uni.

One module I am looking forward to the most is radio drama. I have always been a fond admirer of radio drama and having completed my 2000 words comparative essay on radio drama for the Elements of Broadcasting module, it really has brought back fond memories of why I really enjoy listening to radio plays. Oh yes, I spent countless Sunday nights back in my college days listening to the BBC Radio 3 dramas and here I am now at university trying to make that dream a possibility.

My lectures don’t begin again until the 18th January so until then, I shall enjoy my time off and actually try to finish this cup of green tea.

See ya soon!

Peace.

I’m Jaz! You’ve arrived at my blog about life through a 22-year old’s eyes. I’ve chosen Staffs to take the first steps for my career within the radio industry and hope it will lead me to being a sound designer and produce Radio Dramas/Documentaries for the BBC! I love drinking copious amounts of green tea and watching classic Doctor Who episodes. I’m #ProudToBeStaffs because of the amount of banter! Students – listen up - get involved with as much as you can. University tends to flyby when you are having fun.
