The EPICC project has included the hosting of two Multiplier Events and two Learning, Teaching and Training Activities by the strategic partners.
The aim of the first Multiplier Event held at Staffordshire University in Stoke-on-Trent, UK in April 2017 was to launch and set the foundation for the project and prepare the ground for work by strategic partners and project participants towards the project outputs and activities. The second Multiplier Event, held at the University of South Wales in Cardiff, UK in July 2019 aimed to showcase the outputs of the project and disseminate its findings, along with launching the EPICC Network.
Two Learning, Teaching and Training Activities were held. The first activity was hosted by VIAA Christian University of Applied Sciences in Zwolle, Netherlands in October 2017 and the second activity by the University of Malta in September 2018. The activities were held over five days at each institution and covered the development, testing and implementation of the EPICC Spiritual Care Education Standard.
All events and activites have involved the full participation of EPICC strategic partners, participants, participants+ and other key stakeholders involved in nursing and midwifery education and policy making.
