Vision Board

vision boardWhen you hear “vision board” what do you think of? Some of you may not have even heard of vision boards but I guarantee you that once you make one you won’t look back.

Vision boards allow you to stay motivated and to focus on your goals rather than you focusing on the less important things. Visualisation is one of the most powerful mind exercises that you can do and a vision board activates the law of attraction. The law of attraction is the name given to the maxim “like attracts like” which in New Thought philosophy is used to sum up the idea that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life.

By making a vision board of all your goals you are bringing positivity into your life and by seeing what you want everyday that will motivate you more to go after it.

How to make a vision board:

  1. Think about the things you want the most and the goal you want to achieve.
  2. Find images, motivational quotes, anything that relates to what you want to do. Make sure to hand write your goals as this will make it more personal to you.
  3. Get together all your images and words that you found and get some pins and stick them to your board, preferably in an organised way so you would want to look at it.
  4. Put your board somewhere that you can easily see such as the wall in front of your bed and you can even place some images above your bed that you can look at before you go to sleep as this will make you wake up motivated.

I hope this has influenced someone to make a vision board as it really will help!
