The development of the Universities Connected Communities Framework stems from decades of research with the aim of understanding what being a connected university really means in practice. Coordinating this effors is Nic Gratton, Lead for Civic Engagement and Evaluation at Staffordshire University, working with a number of organisations to embed participatory peer and community research into their practice and to create change at a local and policy level.
