The special interest group Creative Clusters (Film), led by Associate Professor Peter Rudge, focusses on cross disciplinary and cross school research into the theories and practice of creative clusters with an emphasis on the digital creative industries and film in regional contexts.

The group works closely with moving image cluster Platform – a member of the European Cluster Collaboration Platform.

Platform is the Moving Image Cluster for Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire, launched in partnership with Staffordshire University, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce and Keele University.
