This one-day CPD workshop offers an introduction to how photogrammetry can be utilised in archaeology. A wide range of innovative and accurate methods of presenting data and media types, such as 360-degree photography, photo-stitching and the creation of topographic models, will be showcased.
Topics covered include:
- Budget photogrammetry methods such as mobile applications and downloadable low-cost software.
- High-end specialist photogrammetry equipment for larger budget projects.
Through a series of lectures, workshops and practical sessions, attendees will gain hands-on experience, applying the technology to mock scenarios and its applications to archaeology will be demonstrated.
