In the morning Dr Sturdy Colls visited Blythe Bridge High School where she spoke to pupils about her work and encouraged them to think about what lessons we can learn today from the events of the Holocaust. More information about this event can be found here.
In the evening, she delivered a lecture at Staffordshire University about her recent work at the labour and extermination camps in Treblinka. This lecture marked the first of the public lecture series being offered by the Centre of Archaeology throughout 2014.
