Centre of Archaeology gains Registered Status with IfA

After validation and two inspections, the Centre of Archaeology at Staffordshire University has been granted RO (Registered Organisation) status with the Institute for Archaeologists.

The IfA is a professional institute for those involved in the study and care of the historic environment. It enhances historic environment practice by promoting professional standards, ethics, and guidance. To become a Registered Organisation, archaeological practitioners and companies need to demonstrate commitment to quality, professional standards, requisite skills and experience, and a commitment professional ethics.
