One of the members of our “Recording Cultural Genocide and Holocaust Killing Sites in Jewish Cemeteries” project will present at an international conference this week.
Steven D. Reece has been invited to speak at the 7th Annual Genocide Awareness Week on the evening of Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 6:00 PM. His topic will be: The Shoah and Its Aftermath: Speaking for Those Who Have No Voice Today. The conference is hosted by Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, AZ. According to the organizers, this conference is the largest genocide conference in North America is free and open to the public.
Mr. Reece will be speaking about the work that he does in leading The Matzevah Foundation and its work in Jewish-Christian dialogue by caring for and restoring Jewish cemeteries in Poland.
