Dr Caroline Sturdy Colls presented her research at Treblinka in a workshop entitled “Unearthing Treblinka” at the Holocaust Generations Conference on Sunday 18th January 2015.
Her workshop outlined her work at Treblinka and highlighted how archaeological research is uncovering evidence at labour camps for the first time. The conference, held at The UCL Institute of Education (IOE), London, was a unique conference which brought together first, second and third generation holocaust survivors, along with other experts in the field. The conference was organised by the Association of Jewish Refugees, the Kindertransport Association and the Second Generation Network.
More details about the conference can be found on the Holocaust Generations Conference website.
