New publication for the Finding Shakespeare Project

After 7 years worth of research, archaeological excavation and analysis, the Centre of Archaeology is pleased to announce that the book ‘Finding Shakespeare’s New Place: An Archaeological Biography’ has now been published by Manchester University Press. The book provides a fascinating, chronological history of the site of New Place ranging from the prehistoric period to modern day and of course provides new and tantalizing information on the most famous of its owners, William Shakespeare.
